Something for the Man to do
No offence girls! We are not being sexist here but finally a way to get the man in your life involved in the wedding without any grumbles! Give him the website to do! He can do it while watching the footie on telly and he can always use it as an excuse to get out of shopping for favors or bridesmaid dresses.
It is funny how many people we speak to who say 'I have never thought of having a website for my wedding' when a successful wedding relies on good communication and a personal touch. A website is the perfect tool to enable you to ensure all your guests receive the correct information for the wedding day or for those who can't be there a way of including them in the proceedings even though they can't attend.
Include your order of Service so that everybody knows where they are supposed to be when, directions to the church, venue or hotel, a list of possible accommodation near to the venue or any special details which they may need to take into account. Does the vicar allow confetti inside the church, only in the grounds or not at all? Is there a break in proceedings so people can get changed? Is it a themed wedding so everybody can dress accordingly?
Include pictures of the main wedding party so everybody can pay their respects to the mums and dads without putting their foot in it. The bestman and the grooms should be there so everybody knows who to go to if they have a question. If you are having a hen/stag party - create a picture gallery of the night so everybody can have a laugh (careful selection obviously vital) and last but by no means least upload a number of pictures from the wedding day so those who know and love you and couldn't attend can see you in all your glory.
